1. Can you call SIM1 using SIM2 and vice versa?

2. When a phone call is under way on one of the sims, does the other one go offline, or is it ready to take calls as well?

It is dual sim, dual standby.
If sim1 is calling, sim2 will be busy. When you finish sim1 call, sim1 and sim2 will be back on line.
